Maison Francis Kurkdjian saw the light. During their encounter, the secrets behind the

iconic scarlet red crystal inspired the creation of this unique fragrance. In a stunning

metamorphosis, clear crystal gradually fuses with 24-karat gold powder at 540 degrees

Celsius (1,004°F) and turns bright red:

it’s the rouge à l’or (red made of gold). That is how Baccarat Rouge 540 was born.
